Microsoft gives file access Friday after 10 years

 

Finally, finally, Microsoft releases the access to files in Windows programming.

In the current development platform UWP Universal Windows Platform Apps, it was not possible to access files until April 2018.

Microsoft had reserved this flag only for internal applications of Microsoft and Friends.

But now almost all developers have jumped from UWP, because the development of UWP Windows applications was thus for the Katz.

The new flag is called broadFileSystemAccess

This is a limited function. On first use, the system prompts the user to allow access. Access can be configured under Settings> Privacy> File system. When submitting an app to the store that declares this feature, you'll need to provide additional descriptions of why the app requires this feature and how it will use it.

This feature works for APIs in the Windows.Storage namespace.
