DETAIL description
Under the detail description of the error is: at Warning-> No Ptr
A Reverse DNS lookup is used by remote hosts to determine who 'owns' an IP address. For this to occur the 'owner' of the IP address must have registered a PTR record for the IP address. |
Solution:
If you have a Web server V server, Virtual Server set up with most providers, then two network connections are installed.
You can find the network connections under Windows-> Start-> Network Connections.
You have to disable a network connection.
Then select the Ethernet connection that is not connected to the IP of the web server.
Disable this with context menu-> disable
In the repeated test, all addresses of the IP reverse lookup are then in order.
This test checks all the local machine's TCP / IP addresses for reverse DNS lookup. Some mail servers perform a reverse lookup on you IP address. Want to make that external IP addresses make a reverse lookup or mail servers (like Yahoo and Hotmail) wants to reject your mail.
